    Saturday and Sunday, August 13-14, 8:30-4:30 each day, Bugbee Senior Center, White River Junction.

    Instructor Certification in basic moves and stepwise teaching method. Main sponsor is Central Vermont Council on Aging. Marty, Anne, and Ellie will lead.

    To register for workshops you need to send an email to Anne Bower at anniebower@yahoo.com. Anne can answer questions you may have about the workshops as well.

    The Administration on Community Living has provided the State of Vermont funding to train people across the state on person-centered thinking and planning options counseling.  This training is in preparation for a nationwide movement towards streamlining access to long term services and support via a “No Wrong Door” network.

    This training is compiled of both online and in-person courses.  The online sections can be taken at the learners’ convenience, the in-person portion will take place at the Waterbury State Office Complex (there are currently seven scheduled events, and more to come).  As this training is currently fully funded for the next year, there is no attendance fee and the cost of both the materials and online platform licenses are also covered.
