SASH’s strategy to help older Vermonters schedule and access the vaccine was highlighted in a December 2021 compilation of "COVID-19 Innovations” by the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub).
In recognition of the 10th anniversary of SASH, which has been improving Vermonters’ health, enhancing their quality of life, and saving health care costs, Vermont Governor Phil Scott issued a proclamation declaring Nov. 12, 2021, Support and Services at Home (SASH) Day.
SASH received the 2016 Award for Excellence in Program Innovation from the American Public Health Association (APHA) and Archstone Foundation during its 2016 annual meeting in Colorado.
