Software Systems Update
New FAMCare Interface postponed: We will not yet be transitioning to the new FAMCare user interface in early March. We extensively tested the new interface and found many areas for improvement, which FAMCare is currently working on fixing and expect the transition to occur in early April, although we will test everything again to ensure the system is working properly before activating it for staff.
The Importance of Success Stories
Success stories play a vital role in strengthening our teams and reinforcing the impact of our work. They show what effective collaboration looks like, boost morale, and help us replicate approaches that truly support the participants we serve. Success stories help bring SASH to life when we share them with others and make the data we collect more meaningful.
Bristol Panel Success Story and more...
SASH Spotlight - Paula Dooley
In just a little over a year with SASH, Paula has made an exceptional impact in the Bristol community. Through thoughtful, engaging programming and the strong relationships she has built with local providers and physicians, Paula has not only brought her panel to full capacity but has also developed a robust waitlist—a true testament to the value and trust she has cultivated.
What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is that Paula has done this without an on-site nurse, working instead with remote nursing support from Cathedral Square over the past year. Her ability to coordinate care, foster partnerships, and support residents so effectively speaks volumes about her skill, dedication, and leadership.
Paula’s supervisor recently described her as a “breath of fresh air,” and her remote nurse echoed that sentiment, highlighting what a strong and capable SASH Coordinator she is. We are so grateful for the energy, professionalism, and care Paula brings to her role, and we’re excited to recognize the exceptional work she is doing for residents in the Bristol area.
R&R Circles
We are thrilled to share that our first two R & R Circles have been a tremendous success! Together, we have explored the powerful topics of centering ourselves, establishing healthy boundaries, and rediscovering meaning in the important work we do every day.
Looking ahead, our next two months will take us into deeper territory as we navigate the topics of grief and loss, as well as having difficult conversations with our participants and their families. These are not easy subjects, but they are necessary ones — and we know this group is more than ready.
To each and every one of you: thank you. Thank you for showing up, for being open, and for the vulnerability and heart you bring to these circles. We look forward to continuing this journey together.
